Kimberly Maslaniak has over 15 years experience in employment law and human resources management. While practicing law, Kimberly represented and advised employers on all areas of employment law, including anti-discrimination and non-harassment practices, workers’ compensation, wage and hour issues, leaves of absence, discipline and termination procedures. She specialized in workers’ compensation, leaves of absence and the ADA, providing training on those issues throughout Northern California. She was an instructor for the University of California at Santa Cruz Extension’s Law and Human Resources Course and has spoken on behalf of the EEOC on the issues presented by workers’ compensation and the ADA.

Kimberly enjoys using her legal background to assist businesses and non-profit organizations in all areas of human resources management. She provides assistance with legal compliance, sexual harassment prevention and investigation, training, recruiting, policy and procedure development, employee relations support, among other services.

Kimberly is currently a Member of the Board of Directors for the Davis Art Center and heads the Personnel Committee. She is also a member of the California State Bar’s Labor & Employment Law Section, the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the Davis Chamber of Commerce.

Kimberly graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. in Political Science and a B.A. in French. She received her juris doctor degree from the University of San Francisco.
